About the Project:
The traditional aesthetic for this newly constructed Colonial Revival home and its acre of formal gardens is a sympathetic nod to the residence’s highly visible location within the historic Village of Southampton, New York. The verdant location, with its close proximity to the ocean, inspired both the site’s design and the architecture of the home. Sawyer Berson was given the task of designing the landscape, architecture, and interiors. The interdisciplinary nature of the project allowed the team to site the house, and to craft a sense of continuity between the landscape and the interior spaces of the house.
