MPFP is looking for a Senior Project Designer. Perform all phases of landscape architectural design and project management on large-scale and complex projects including parks, plazas, transportation, educational, recreational, and residential/roof terraces projects; Incorporate local agency regulations, project requirements, and zoning/building code analyses into various designs; Coordinate with consultant team to integrate different design disciplines and practices into unified architectural solutions to meet project objectives and expectations; Conduct programming and prototype analyses to resolve technical and design issues; and visualize the projects by rendering and digital modeling; Develop/review construction documents and collaborate with clients in obtaining bids, permit and agency approvals, and awarding construction contracts; Manage construction projects including field coordination, schedules control, submittals review, and response to RFIs.
Requirements: Master of Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Requirements: Sound knowledge of stormwater management, project management, advanced landscape architecture design (i.e. urban design, environmental planning & design), and grading/planting/sustainable design; Strong hand sketching and model making skills; Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, ArcGIS, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and LandFX.
