JUNIOR LEVEL LANDSCAPE DESIGNER – Quennell Rothschild & Partners

Quennell Rothschild & Partners is seeking a full-time landscape designer with 2-5 years’ work experience to join our friendly, collaborative, and dedicated team. QRP works predominantly in the public realm and seeks a candidate committed to improving the public environment.

Candidate should have experience with all phases of landscape design from conceptual design through the preparation of contract documents and strong graphic skills.

QRP values in-person collaboration within the office team and will require the successful candidate to work in our lower Manhattan office at least 3 days a week. All candidates must be fully vaccinated/boosted against COVID-19. QRP is an equal-opportunity employer.

Salary: $60K to 75K per year commensurate with experience.

SKILLS

The following skills are required:

• • Self-motivated

• • Precise, hard-working, and able to meet project deadlines

• • Excellent design skills, and ability to translate concepts into feasible designs

• • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• • Essential technical skills – AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. Experience producing technical drawings is required.

• • Proficiency in REVIT and GIS is a plus.

• • Experience producing realistic graphic renderings and visualizations using 3D modeling skills (Rhino and/or Sketchup) and Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator, In-Design, and Photoshop).

• • Production of construction documents

• • Construction administration experience is a plus

EXPERIENCE

• • At least 2 years with a landscape architecture practice or public agency

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program

• • Registered or pursuing licensure as a Landscape Architect in New York State is a plus
