Position Summary
We are seeking a talented entry‐level Landscape Designer to join our fast-growing Landscape Architecture team in our New York City studio.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined environment on a variety of project types and scales. The candidate shall be a highly motivated, outgoing, and a resourceful team player to complement our team.
Responsibilities

- Use AutoCAD/MicroStation software to complete basic drawings using input from landscape architects and engineers on their team.

- Assist in the preparation of design plans with the support of the design team and supervisors.

- Complete design of construction details with support of the design team.

- Complete field visits for projects and obtain visual and photographic information, perform SWPPP inspections for active construction projects.

- Perform tree inventories and surveys with Certified Arborists.

- Acquire basic knowledge and develop basic skills through mentored experience.

- Interact primarily with internal project team members.

- Responsible for personal task management and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture.

- 0-2 years of industry experience in landscape architecture field.

- A high level of professionalism and excellent organizational skills.

- Understanding of Design Development and Construction Document preparation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong ability in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.

- Strong digital visualization skills and freehand graphics.

- Bentley MicroStation/ OpenRoads

- ProjectWise Explorer

- Horticultural/ Arboriculture knowledge

- ISA Certified Arborist credentials
