LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

 Starr Whitehouse, an award-winning landscape architecture and planning practice, seeks talented, motivated, and detail-oriented landscape designer to join our New York and/or Atlanta studios. Pursuant to health advisories, initial employment will be remote, excepting outdoor site visits as required by clients. Projects address pressing urban design and climate issues, including resilience planning, green infrastructure, public parks, waterfronts, streetscapes, landfill reclamation, affordable housing, social/civic spaces, and the design of open space for multifamily residences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience in project production and exceptional design and graphic skills, as well as a keen interest in ecological and sustainable design practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience
• Design talent
• English fluency
• Mastery of AutoCAD
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• 3D modeling / rendering
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Knowledge of Revit a plus
