We love our award-winning projects, such as working on the site plan and concessions improvements at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), or collaborating with the Oneida Nation of Indians, City of Rome, and inspiring artists on an urban art installation. Our projects improve our communities, and we are proud of our work, especially in Upstate New York and the Adirondacks.

You will also have the opportunity to take on greater levels of responsibility with us than you would at a large company. We want to help you begin to step into the role of Project Manager, running projects on your own and overseeing design staff to bring your ideas to fruition. But we understand that you probably need mentoring to become the excellent manager you want to be, and we can provide the mentorship to make that happen.

Requirements

• • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school.

• • A Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license, preferably from New York State.

• • 3-5+ years of experience with a landscape architecture license, or 12+ years of experience without a license.

• • A valid Driver’s License.

• • Strong technical design, written, and verbal communication skills.

• • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

• • Proficiency initiating design concepts and project strategy.

• • Competency with hand sketching and drawing, Rhino/Sketchup, Lumion.

• • Experience working directly with clients.

• • Experience working on a variety of project types.

• • Proficiency in working with plants and planting design.

• • Cost estimating experience.
