Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP (ABB) is a growing landscape architecture practice with a long legacy of shaping New York City’s public realm. We are currently looking for highly-qualified, creative Landscape Architects who are detail-oriented critical thinkers and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment to work on a wide range of projects. Candidates with previous experience on public NYC projects, especially projects for NYC SCA, are highly desirable.

Successful Landscape Architect (3-10 yrs experience) candidates will possess the following:

• Strong competencies in grading design, planting design and construction detailing
• Superior design abilities including detailed design development
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, Sketch-Up and/or Rhino (Lumion a plus)
• Cost estimating experience
• Construction admin experience
• Demonstrated success as a project manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• NY Registration or on the path to registration.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
