Join TCLF Board Member and OvS CEO Eric Groft on an exclusive tour of this residential landscape nestled between the Atlantic Ocean, Napeague Bay, and the agricultural fields of Long Island.
At the client’s request, the plantings reflect the New American Garden style, made famous by OvS founders Wolfgang Oehme and James van Sweden. The design team also drew inspiration from the surrounding landscapes of ocean, bay, and farm, and designed the site to function as a bioretention area, achieving nearly net-zero run-off. The property serves as a home for both the client and for their expansive collection of modern art, and special care was taken to site several large-scale sculptures from the client’s collection within the landscape.
This Garden Dialogue will be led by Eric Groft and includes a signing for OvS’ recent book Beyond Bold: Inspiration, Collaboration, Evolution.
