As part of our educational programming, ASLA-NY is pleased to host a screening of Sitting Still — a documentary offering an intimate look at the life, work, and vision of celebrated landscape architect Laurie Olin. The film explores Olin’s humanist approach to design, revealing how his iconic public spaces have shaped cities and influenced ideas about urban nature, community, and environment. Sitting Still invites viewers to pause, reflect, and see the world through the eyes of one of landscape architecture’s most influential voices. Refreshments will be provided.
