SDA Lighting & Controls Announces 2026 Showcase
Reimagined: Lighting for Design
NEW YORK, September 28, 2026 — SDA Lighting & Controls will host its 2026 Lighting Showcase on October 6 and 7 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. The event, held by invitation, will bring lighting and controls manufacturers together with the New York City and Northern New Jersey design community under this year’s theme, “Reimagined: Lighting for Design.”
The showcase features curated booths that let visitors experience products in designed settings, explore new technologies, and speak directly with manufacturer representatives. Architects, interior and lighting designers, engineers, end users, distributors, contractors, and other industry professionals are invited to attend.
This year, SDA is adding a design initiative for the architecture and design community. Select partners outside the lighting industry will join the lighting and controls exhibitors with products that complement the broader design conversation. Lighting and controls remain at the center of the event.
“The SDA Showcase has always been about creating meaningful connections between our manufacturers and the design community,” said Jean Jacques, Chief Operating Officer of SDA Lighting & Controls. “For 2026, we are reimagining the experience by broadening the conversation around design while continuing to keep lighting and controls as the focus. We are excited to welcome our clients, partners, and friends back to the Metropolitan Pavilion.”
