In this DEI planning session we will review our very first Draft ASLA-NY DEI Strategic Plan that emerged from the feedback we gathered at the October Town Hall event. We will work together to fine tune the Draft Strategic Plan and develop immediate action plans for 2022 to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within ASLA-NY and the wider landscape architecture community.

Sabine Chishty will facilitate our discussions with the help of ASLA-NY members. Sabine is a trainer, leader and coach who supports organizations in dismantling oppression. In all contexts, Sabine’s approach is to debias people and the systems they form together, advancing individual development and collective change at the same time.
