CCNY: Crossing Disciplines – A Conversation on Soil

The Crossing Boundaries Speaker Series aims to connect the MLA student body with the scholarship of our broader institution at CUNY. In doing so, we can facilitate interdisciplinary conversations that engage landscape architecture as a field that draws from many ways of understanding the world This year our topic is soil, and we are inviting two researchers to discuss their work, which involve remediation of urban soils, plant-mediated controls of terrestrial carbon cycling, and environmental justice and participatory research.
