Dear neighbors! Come join us to learn more about your park! This tour will be led by docents from the Alliance for FMCP and landscape architects from Quennell Rothschild & Partners (QRP) who designed the newly renovated “mist garden”, to share with you the history, stories and efforts made behind this popular project in our beloved park.

What you will learn from this tour:

  1. Natural history of Flushing Bay and FMCP area 
  2. History of the 1939 and 1964 World’s Fairs 
  3. 2017 Master Plan of all the fountains 
  4. Phase one: the design of the Mist Garden 
  5. Up-coming Climate Resilience Plan for FMCP
