Join us for a tour of Domino Square, a new 1-acre public space that will expand the public realm along the Williamsburg waterfront and connect it more seamlessly with the surrounding neighborhood. Designed as a new civic room, the Square features welcoming and active edges with neighborhood-oriented retail and a central plaza for various events such as farmers’ markets, community gatherings, movie nights, arts and cultural performances, and ice skating in the winter. Field Operations and Two Trees will share insights and stories about its planning, vision, and design, alongside plans for its ongoing programming, maintenance, and operations.

Lisa Switkin is a Partner at Field Operations, where she leads many of the firm’s complex public realm projects. Lisa has been intimately involved in many multi-disciplinary projects including New York City’s High Line, Domino Park in Brooklyn, Santa Monica’s Tongva Park, Gansevoort Peninsula in Hudson River Park, and the transformative master plans for Staten Island’s Freshkills Park, Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, The Underline in Miami, Waterfront Seattle, and Cleveland’s North Coast Master Plan.
Michael Lampariello has been involved in the development and management of some of New York’s most notable new parks and public space projects. Since 2018, Mike has served as the Director of Domino Park for Two Trees Management and leads the team responsible for park’s ongoing stewardship, operations, horticulture, and public programming.
