Start your NYC weekend with a walk in the woods!
Join ALSA-NY for a Central Park Conservancy led tour by Steve Bopp, Bob Rumsey, and Alex Hodges as we stroll through the recently restored Loch and Lower Ravine. The restoration of this landscape in the North Woods, was completed in 2017 and included Central Park’s historic Loch. While we walk, landscape architects Steve (Senior Project Manager of Planning, Design and Construction) and Bob (Studio Director of Planning, Design and Construction) will discuss the design and construction process and Alex (Assistant Manager of Natural Areas) will speak about the maintenance of this restored landscape.
We will meet at the Charles A Dana Discovery Center at 10am for a light breakfast and coffee before heading out.
