About the Project:

The Riverline proposes the transformation of the abandoned site of the former DL&W rail corridor into a verdant refuge which opens the successional landscape to the public. The Riverline functions at a neighborhood and city-wide scale, connecting people to nature, water, art and each other. This proposal is the result of 10 months of research, community engagement and design development to create a framework for the future that connects communities with new experiences incorporating the city’s history, local ecology, and river heritage.
