About the Project:
Reimagine Middle Branch is a community-driven initiative to reconnect South Baltimore with a system of world-class parks, trails, programs, and economic development plans along the 11-mile shoreline of the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River. The plan is fundamentally about equity and justice, resilience, and health—a transformation of place supported by new jobs, wealth generation, and quality of life amenities that extend beyond the built environment.
The Reimagine Middle Branch Plan includes four volumes: a Design Vision of place-based transformations; Implementation Strategies that describe how the vison will be funded, managed, phased, and maintained over time; an Engagement Summary that documents how the community shaped the Plan; and Resources Guides that support equity, financing, and economic development.
