About the Project:
The Camden Highline will transform a 0.75-mile section of disused railway viaduct into a new park that will connect Camden Town with Kings Cross, bringing people and nature together in the city. The Highline offers much-needed green space for underserved communities while simultaneously creating a new attraction and destination for London.
The park’s social amenities and pedestrian connectivity are integrated with a commitment to improving biodiversity and sustainability, building up new natural habitats through the introduction of diverse ecotypes throughout various character zones. The design draws from the heritage of the space it occupies, giving a true sense of place.
