ASLA National Conference Grant 2024 by ASLA-NY – Applications Due by September 4th.
ASLA-NY is pleased to cover $1,250 of the cost of attendance to the annual ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture for an emerging to mid-career professional (working or seeking and up to 12 years out of school) who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or as a Person of Color. This is the largest event in the world for landscape architecture professionals and will take place in-person in Washington, DC, October 6-9.
To be eligible for this grant individuals must work or reside within the ASLA-NY chapter boundary (https://www.aslany.org/about), and have graduated from a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Master of Landscape Architecture program within the last 12 years. The recipient of the grant will be asked to submit a short essay on their experience upon return from the conference. Members and non-members are welcome to apply at no cost to the applicant.

ASLA LARE Grant 2024
ASLA LARE Grant 2024 by ASLA-NY – Applications Due by August 25
ASLA-NY is pleased to offer $1,000 towards the cost of an LARE exam for one emerging professional (working or seeking and up to 8 years out of school) who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or as a Person of Color.
To be eligible for this grant individuals must work or reside within the ASLA-NY chapter boundary (https://www.aslany.org/about), and have graduated from a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or Master of Landscape Architecture program within the last 8 years. Members and non-members are welcome to apply at no cost to the applicant.

Requirements: eligible candidates must have an LAAB-accredited degree in landscape architecture, and meet the state board requirements. Click here to view individual state requirements for eligibility. The recipient of the grant is expected to complete the LARE within 2 years of receiving the grant.
