Are you interested in getting more involved in your profession by joining the Executive Board of the New York Chapter of ASLA? Being part of the Board is a great way to promote the field of Landscape Architecture and support the professional community by guiding the direction of your chapter, developing great relationships with other Landscape Architects and impacting the future of the profession in the New York metro area.
Open positions for the New York Chapter include the officer roles of Trustee (three-year term) and Secretary (two-year term) as well as five Executive Board positions (two-year terms).
Board members must hold active ASLA membership. Join or renew now by visiting asla.org. The Board meets approximately ten times per year and members are expected to chair committees and attend chapter events. Prior involvement on a chapter committee is preferred. Have questions on roles, term length, or time commitments? Contact Diane Sferrazza Katz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in running for any position, please send a statement of interest to email@example.com by May 16th.
